Monterrey's Book Fair 2026

Last Saturday I went to this year's book fair!

It has become kind of a yearly personal tradition to visit, observe and if something catches my eye... get it! And this time was no exception.

Something that I enjoy A LOT is the whole vibe,  honestly. Being surrounded by books, readers and authors sharing stories. Even some spaces where design is very unique, ad hoc as their brand, love to see that touch, makes the visitor's experience different.

This time I didn't buy anything (unfortunately) BUT what I saw and what makes me happy is seeing so many new young readers! It motivates me to finish projects and hope they can read and enjoy them 💛

Happy to be back!

It's been about four years since my last entry. It blows my mind how time never stops, but what I love stays with me no matter how many years pass, which makes me a very consistent person? maybe? I know what I like hehe

Once again, I'm very excited for what I'm going to share in this virtual space, makes me feel that I'm becoming the person I used to dream about, which is nice tbh enjoying and living a life I've been working very hard to accomplish, I still have some goals I want to achieve and having a challenge pushes me to keep improving.

In this past couple of years, I've learned so many things that I'll be sharing here (exciting!). One lesson that keeps me grounded is to enjoy the process. I'm a person who LOVES to plan, track progress and achieve goals and sometimes that makes me think into the future. Sometimes it's not fun; the uncertainty is terrifying, BUT if I look at my progress from a different perspective and enjoy what I'm doing today, it makes it better. So that's a little bit of wisdom from me to you! Sounds basic, but training your brain to think that way is challenging and rewarding at the same time - funny!

So, what have I been up to? - mmh, interesting question. This year I'm trying new things for my health: getting better at eating veggies, doing some yoga, meditating. I tell my boyfriend I'm in my healing era, and I'm feeling better, and it shows in my art. In four years, I've changed; my art has changed... in a good way!

Even tho its the tenth month of the year, I hope I can finish some interesting projects and enjoy the upcoming festivities yey!

Psyche
